Dr. Anietie (Tia) Ukpe-Wallace

FOUNDER // DOCTOR OF PHYSICAL THERAPY // HEALER

I love learning about the human body and its way miraculous way of healing and I do that through movement and food. I think from my lack of movement as a lifestyle as a little kid, I seek it out regularly as an adult. This is what eventually led me down the path to practicing and teaching yoga and eventually where I am at now as a physical therapist. I currently indulge in pole, roller skating, hiking, belly dancing, shuffle dancing and occasionally jump roping.

I also love learning how what we put in our body affects us and that journey started in my 20s when I moved to the Bay Area and became a vegetarian, I started learning about herbs but got sucked into yoga and movement and am glad to make my way back to this healing modality.

I seek to combine the work that I do as a physical therapist, movement expert and budding herbalist to be the healer that I need in my life and hopefully influence you to see how you can be the healer in your life as well.

Favorite morning beverage — Green matcha tea with honey
Favorite way to wind down at night — laying in my infrared sauna blanket
Favorite vacation spot — too many to name, but definitely Bali and Thailand
